Who is responsible

S TIER is published by GolemX, the sole proprietorship of Adem Laurent, based in France. GolemX is the controller of the data described here.

What stays on your iPhone

Everything that proves your quests is read and judged on your iPhone. This data is never sent: not to us, not to anyone.

Health (Apple HealthKit)

With your permission, S TIER reads your steps, walking distance, flights climbed, exercise minutes, active calories, workouts, sleep, resting heart rate and VO2 max. The app only reads: it never writes anything to Health. This data is never used for advertising and is never stored in iCloud by S TIER.

Screen Time

Apple never gives S TIER the list of your apps or your usage times: the app only receives a signal when a threshold is crossed, and a view that only your iPhone can read. None of it leaves your iPhone, and Screen Time quests don't count toward the XP sent to the Leaderboard.

Location

Only if you choose a gym or a library, and during the endurance trial (GPS). Your places' coordinates stay on your iPhone; iOS detects when you arrive.

Motion

Your iPhone recognizes walking, running and cycling, to prove your quests without a watch.

What goes to the Leaderboard

The Leaderboard is the only place where data leaves your iPhone. Here is the complete list:

DataWhy
A random identifier created by the app, unrelated to your identityRecognize your account, without a password
Your usernameShow you on the Leaderboard
Your season XP, excluding Screen Time questsYour place on the Leaderboard
Your rank, the coin you show, ranks reached, the date you joinedYour player card
Your trial records (endurance, reflexes, memory, attention)Your player card
Your end-of-season titles, and whether they're visibleYour player card
Your Apple purchase identifier, only if you claim the Founder tokenVerify the purchase with Apple
Reports you make (reported username, reason)Moderate usernames
Your XP is a game score. Part of it may come from quests proven by Health, but no Health data is ever sent: no steps, no sleep, no heart rate.

Other players see your username, XP, rank, coin, records, best place, public titles and Founder number. This data is processed because the Leaderboard is part of the game you use (performance of the service), and for moderation and fraud prevention (legitimate interest).

Like any web server, our host processes your IP address to route the connection. We don't store it.

06

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to its processing, at any time.

If you believe your rights aren't respected, you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL: cnil.fr).

07

Younger users

S TIER is not intended for children under 13. If local law requires it (in France, under 15), ask a parent's permission before joining the Leaderboard.

08

Security

Exchanges with the server are encrypted (HTTPS). There's no password to steal: your account is a random identifier kept in your iPhone's keychain. And the best protection is the simplest: we only collect what the Leaderboard strictly needs.

09

Changes

If this policy changes in a significant way, the app will let you know. Last updated: November 8, 2026.
